It's hard to believe EJ is already two months old. He continues to bring us great joy! He is having some trouble with his weight so please pray for him. He lost a pound after birth and it took eight weeks to gain it back. He should have gained it back within two weeks and then keep gaining so his pediatrician is very concerned. EJ will gain an ounce or two and then not gain any weight for a week but he should be gaining 1/2-1 ounce per day.
We have had to make a visit to the pediatric cardiologist and thankfully, she didn't find any heart problems but now we have to keep looking for alternate causes for his weight issues. He eats really well and we have ruled out milk supply and transfer issues.

I can't believe he's two months old, either! I'm seeing more of Melissa in him now! Is that her chin? I think so!

i have had friends with babies who stay small. at a year old they are the size of the avg. 6 mos. old. so it might only seem odd since he started out so big. have you checked the medical web chat rooms to see if anyone has had similar experiences?
we'll keep praying though.

What a sweetie! Will be praying. Noah had to have a jump start too. They had me pump and put a milk fortifier in his bottle. It only took 2 weeks of doing that one time a day and he was well on his way on his own.
