Bye Bye July

We were so happy to see July go and August begin. July was such a hard month for our family with the loss of Forsberg. We were hopeful that August would bring good memories, especially with a lot of travel and EJ's 3rd Birthday. August has fun memories but before posting those, we wanted a quick look at summer events that brought happy moments.

EJ made the transition from his crib to a big boy bed! He even wanted to "help" put his new bed together. I don't think he will be in this bed long because he is so tall. Regardless, he is very proud of his new bed and wants to show it to all who visit. Here he is showing his new bed to Jayden. This will surely be the last time a girl is in his bed...until he's married! :-)

EJ spent a lot of time in his rainbow pool. It was a lot of fun and there was plenty of room for my friends to stick their toes in too!

In June, Emily made her way into the world. She is a precious little girl! Sammi is a wonderful big sister!

Here is EJ being sweet to Sammi right before they started chasing bubbles in the front yard at Sammi's house.

EJ and I were able to take several road trips with Eric for his summer recruiting. On of our favorites was Lafayette, Indiana. They had a wonderful park area with rides for toddlers, a free zoo, awesome playground and waterpark. EJ loved the rides! They were perfect to help get him ready for Disneyland!

Looking cool with Daddy after dinner one night in downtown Layfayette.

We were in town one night for Music and Mozzerlla at the Children's Museum. They serve pizza and a performance of a kid's oriented band. EJ didn't care too much about the music...he just wanted to play. Here he is in the sports area dressed to play as a Husker football player!

With Daddy at the concert.
