The fun started in Lincoln with a party at Lost in Fun. It's an indoor playground where EJ played with his friends Will, Sam, Sammi and all their siblings.
Once in Colorado, the festivities continued. Both Eric and I grew up going to Casa Bonita so we wanted to share that tradition with EJ. Uncle Brian was in town for work so we brought him and grandma and grandpa. The marachi band serenaded him with a great rendition of happy birthday.
He ventured through Black Bart's scary cave but he wasn't a big fan of the spooky dark journey. It took both Eric and Brian encouraging him to make it through!
In front of the big fountain out front. A tradition!
EJ has wanted fish for a long time so we promised to make his wish come true for his 4th birthday.
On his actual birthday we started the day celebrating with Tricia at the Pancake House. They share the same brithday and they share a love for sourdough pancakes!
Our next stop was the aquarium with Grandma Bobbie. EJ is very into sharks so we made sure to get a shot of the biggest, baddest shark of the bunch!
We were able to enjoy an afternoon with Uncle Brian and his girlfriend, Krish. They were very sweet to hang out with us on their romantic Denver weekend.
We ended the night with cake and presents. Grandma and EJ made the cake together. You can tell the parts EJ decorated and the parts grandma did! He's the sprinkle king! Used up a whole bottle of them on the cake!
Next stop: California were Uncle Andy and Aunt Kellie are waiting for EJ to arrive and celebrate with them. He is one super blessed kid! A big thanks to everyone who celebrated with us!
